Legalization of Documents for use in Kenya

The Kenya High Commission legalizes documents at a cost of £5 per copy and the process takes at least 48 hours (two working days) between time of submission and collection. An accompanying letter is required if the documents are being sent through the post/courier service. The documents, especially company documents, must also be certified by the UK Foreign & Commonwealth Office. Also note that legalization is still required for documents authenticated by an English Notary Public, except for Statutory Declarations for persons wishing to marry in Kenya.
